It is only stage blood and latex flesh. It is not someone really being hurt. I think the MPAA forgets that sometimes.

A scary, gory movie is supposed to be just that! Scary and GORY! This is where special effects and make up design shine on set! Bring back the gore!

The MPAA is using different rules for our smaller studio film- verses other films in the same genre with larger studios.

I've seen the original cut of this film, and it's no worse than many big studio films that make it to the theater. Which means, of course, that this is yet another example of the MPAA discriminating against indie films while letting bug studios get away with whatever they want. There's literally a whole documentary on this practice (This Film Is Not Yet Rated, 2006). MPAA was supposed to be a guide, not a censor board! Free Blood Feast, Free Marcel Walz!!!!!

This movie pays respect to the late H.G Lewis and the movie needs to be released uncut, as its been edited. The homage to Mr. Lewis means everything to us. Let's keep it the way it has been amazingly edited!!

All films widely deserve to be released in their original uncut versions, for this is the remake of a Herschell Gordon Lewis film that we're talking about and it's not meant to be a squeaky clean film.

It's 2017 and everyone in the West has access to the internet. A child with a phone, tablet or computer (and how many don't have those) has already seen far 'worse' than any fictional movie has to offer. It's time for parents to filter and explain materials. The days of a ratings board should be long over. At this point in time it's simply an ugly form of arbitrary censorship.
Release it !!!
Don't ruin art.
