I saw the uncut version at the premier. It's the gore that makes the movie.

There are shows on cable tv that have the same amount of gore and violence.So is the Mppa going back to 1980's standard of butchering horror movies.

Even if the MPAA chops it up for the theater you can still release the unrated DVD. I will support you by seeing the movie in the theater, and purchasing the unrated version.

Horror fans want to see this movie released in theaters. The MPAA needs to stop trying to censor it and let it be. The Walking Dead is on TV and there been so many movies before it you bet exhibit the horror content that horror fans want to see. Stop censoring this movie and let it be released.

The film is a beautiful horror experience with very crafty writing and such perfectly realistic effects. By not allowing an R rating you are basically punishing everyone involved for doing such a good job on this project. That is unfair. The general public has seen worse. Just think of murder set pieces. That got an R rating as well.

The MPAA has released things that are much more graphic. They hate independent film, especially horror. There needs to be a change!

The MPAA has always bent over backwards to accommodate the major studios, whilst coming down hard on the independents. It's time it was told exactly where to stick its outdated, arbitrary and partisan censorship process.
