TAC should concentrate on providing good service to members and not on causing them irritation and inconvenience. I agree that there should be no code. Guidelines are OK so long as we can ignore them without question.. Good idea on Tell TAC - going to write one now.

One of many misguided policies at TAC. I'd love to understand the rationale behind them. There are so many other places in Tokyo that I'd rather spend my time (and money).

It is first and foremost a members' club and not a business organization; the dress rules should be guidelines and flexible unless clearly offensive and or inappropriate

The Wintergarden area should permit shorts, mock turtle necks (both long and short sleeve) but no rubber thongs/flip flops, tut

A dress guideline that would be better: Clean and neat dress. Full stop.

Please everyone write a Tell TAC note. Those carry the biggest impact and are reported up to the committees.

Common sense needs to prevail. Looking completely presentable but barred for wearing open toe sandals, in summer, is going too far.

absurd rules. A jacket or blazer is not considered "colored", but someone could walk into the club covered in tattoo's but wearing a collared shirt and they would be ok. Went too far in the new rules. Create guidelines vs hard fast rules.

I often wear a hat or a head dress for religious reasons, now I'm continually being asked to remove it. This ignorant dress code has to stop.

As a member for 17 years I feel the club has become increasingly less welcoming. It is a shame

I can understand being turned away for wearing workout clothes but when wearing linen pants a nice top and Tory Burch leather flip flops is beyond ridiculous.

We are often there with kids and sometimes we need to a breather at the adult area but with kids we don't come in our cocktail dresses & heels! BTW fashion NOW comes in all types of style and fabric, etc. Every Individual at TAC has different sense of style. Therefore there is no right or wrong!
