Reject the Wyoming, OH resolution for expansion of concealed carry in public places

Wyoming has many public events, we don't need people carrying guns coming to these events, or to our parks.

I can't imagine why Woming would allow guns un public laces. This is outrageous.

This is ridiculous and would lead to a less safe community.

I fail to see how this bill enhances a safe environment for our families. Does concealed gun certification include the background checks, mental health assessments, de-escalation training and firing skills that our police receive? Do we want to give anyone who enters or lives in our community the opportunity to kill if they perceive a threat and potentially harm others who may be in the way? As far as not being permitted to conceal carry near children, how is that possible in a small neighborhood such as ours where children are everywhere?

Let law enforcement do their jobs. Wyoming should not be falling for this mania.

I'm appalled that this was passed without any discussion with the community. There is no evidence to support that this makes for a 'safer' community.

I do not want myself or my children in the crosshairs of the good and bad guys. When was the last shoot out in our community?

This is an unsafe and unnecessary regulation.

I am very opposed to HB-48 and the City of Wyoming supporting the relaxing of our gun laws. We are supposed to be an educated community that would heed the ample amount of research that recognizes the false proposition that more guns = more safety. "50-50 on the issue?" I would be surprised. Community input is a hallmark of Wyoming,and such an important issue should have never gone through so quickly without notice and discussion.

I am very concerned about the safety of our citizens and children. Please reverse this decision so my neighbors, family and I don't have to be worried about someone having a concealed weapon on city property. Thank you.

I oppose allowing concealed weapons in any Wyoming public buildings.

This should absolutely be something that the community should vote on. It is a public safety concern for all Wyoming families!

I hope there's a public discussion about this resolution. This is not ok.

Why was this not brought up for discussion with Wyoming's citizens? That council tried to "sneak" such an impactful change by the people who live here makes me question their motives.
