We do not need this and are better without it. I don't want people walking around Wyoming with guns. More guns = more violence.

Disgraceful. There is just no need for concealed carry in public spaces.

This is a dreadful resolution, which leads to more guns in our community buildings with the prospect of uncontrolled outbreaks of deadly gunfire. This is a big step backwards and it must be reversed.

New gun regulations (or lack thereof) a terrible idea!

Why did we hear about this in the press - and why was community input not sought as it is for so many other initiatives? Not clear how this has 'enhanced' community safety; if anything, it makes me feel less safe.

I do not support allowing the carrying of concealed weapons into public areas in Wyoming, as this is a recipe for disaster.

To be clear, it was put to a vote and the City Council voted for the resolution 6-1. This is an attempt to reverse that vote.

I would like to hear the rationale for this move, if there is one, besides an attempt to follow the Ohio House legislation and the NRA wish list. They are based on poor evidence, while the value of restrictions of guns in public areas do have a basis in data. I support this petition.

No! This does not in anyway make our community safer. And, I cannot believe something like this was decided without public input first.

I'd like to know the reasoning behind the decision. Is there a reason city workers feel unsafe in some city buildings? I see absolutely no reason why we would ever need conceal-carry in our parks. The way this happened is just really odd.

Very curious to understand how this made it to resolution and what prompted it in the first place.

I am against that resolution and any resolution that would allow anybody to bring firearms in our Wyoming community. Such important should have been discussed. Hope that council members are not up for reelection soon.

This goes against common sense and public safety.

It is completely outrageous that Wyoming City Council has taken this action without thoroughly canvassing public opinion of Wyoming residents. I am furious with City Council that they have made our community less safe. In my opinion, this signals that it is time for a change in city governance.

We will not patronize any business that allows concealed carry. There is no reason this is a sensible practice
