I oppose opening a new school in Roswell and continuing to bus children from Roswell to a school almost twice as far away, through heavy traffic and soon to be extensive roadway construction in that corridor

Getting across GA 400 on Holcomb Bridge is a traffic nightmare at any time of the day. It's dangerous to have children be bused and very time consuming. Please consider the convenience of the families and children when assigning schools.

It's disappointing that our elected officials continue to fail us (the Centennial cluster) time and again. I don't see how violating your own process standards can be considered fair or legal.

reject the redistricting maps because two primary redistricting criteria have been violated: 1-Geographical Proximity (children are being bused away from their nearest schools) 2-Instructional Capacity (there are schools OVER or AT capacity right next to schools UNDER capacity)

Geographical proximity and instructioinal capacity are not being properly considered. Round 2 plan was better.

Look at the map, compare the proximity of surrounding schools and consider their headcount vs. capacity. No logical human being would approve this map without some ulterior motive.

Nesbit Lakes is getting killed!!! Seriously I can't sell any houses in my neighborhood. Time to even out the zoning.

Two main reasons: Geographical Proximity (children are being bused away from their nearest schools) and Instructional Capacity (there are schools OVER or AT capacity right next to schools UNDER capacity)

Let's not forget the impact of familys' being too far from the school last winter when so many children had to spend the night at school because their families could not come get them!

I strongly oppose the current map system as it is listed in the redistricting petition.

"...having students attend the closest possible school encourages family involvement which leads to better educational outcomes for children...". This is absolutely true, no need to bus/drive kids down Holcombe bridge road several miles when there is a school within a mile of their place of dwelling.

Follow your own policies regarding proximity and traffic patterns. There are processes in place for a reason.
