Our schools are bursting at the seams. We need more school space, before we build more houses.

The quality of life in our beautiful town would be impacted with that many more housing units going in. More traffic congestion in an already congested area, and more students than our schools could adequately handle.

This is more population growth than our schools and roads can handle. This development will erode the reasons people love Los Gatos in the first place.

put in a park and athletic fileds to support the hunderds of student sathletes that already reside in LG. Crazy to think we would develop further housing developments given the current state of school enrollment and traffic in town

This is very dense housing and it is hard to believe that only one child will be attending the schools for every two non-senior housing units. That certainly isn't consistent with other new developments in town. Without a school (or two), there is a huge burden to the town and no perceivable benefit. I am not against development, but would like to see more park space, a donated area for a school, and see the retail and housing reallocated so that there is more of a benefit for Los Gatos and less of a burden.

Schools are too crowded. Traffic is horrendous, LG is losing its smaller town feeling. Say no to North 40 as it is currently planned.

I don't think the "unmet needs" justify the increased traffic and school overcrowding. I would rather drive 15 mins to Santana Row than have one in town.

As is, this doesn't address the need for additional $$ at local schools. Please reject and shoulder that burden on the developers who will profit from this expansion.

One of the many reasons people choose to live in Los Gatos is the schools. The needs of the schools need to be addressed!

A new elementary school helps, but what about Fisher and the High School. There isn't room for more kids there!

This appears to be a case where the town council is ignoring the desires of the residents. How many times do we have to watch them ignore the people of the community before we do something? We need to stand our ground when they tell us we are being to idyllic in wanting to maintain our small town. Do not let them placate us with pats on the head and reassurances that they know what is best for us. We are a strong community, but we have to stand up. Enough is enough.

This project is not realistic in the projections of number of school kids and effect on traffic and other services. The irony is people are flocking to Los Gatos for the school district and the unchecked housing development is leading to a deterioration of the school. This plan is too dense and will worsen school overpopulation problem. Time to say NO

Seriously.... What the heck do the builders think is going to happen to our community when they are done?? Apparently they don't live in Los Gatos! Let's crash their community and see how they like it!!!

It seems that every time a piece of land becomes available, it is turned into high density housing, even if it was previously occupied by commercial property. That means that any plot may conceivably be converted to more housing in the future.The school enrollment assumptions in this plan are ridiculous. Existing traffic is already abysmal. People have mentioned a park...Saratoga set aside land near the library and deemed it the "Heritage Orchard". Simply leaving some of the orchard should be considered. It is a shame to accomodate developers who recklessly overbuild low end housing for maximum profit and leave a disaster of overcrowding and lack of infrastructure in their wake.
