Reject the Current North 40 Development Specific Plan

The plan seems to just add to the current traffic and over population in schools problems. If there is to be more development then we should see a plan that addresses these issues.

Please do not approve this plan. We do not need more housing, the town is already overcrowded. We need open space, parks, entertainment locals, not shopping and houses.

Let's keep Los gatos from growing into a small city. I myself want to keep the small town appeal!

We must remember in addition to 180 new students projected by the residential development, there are more students probably coming to Los Gatos Schools. How so? The State requires that municipalities basically provide matching housing for job growth. ABAG is required to set a formula, and then determine how much each municipality must provide in affordable housing. One of the prime factors for determining the allocation based on the last cycle (every 8 years allocation made) is job growth. If the next cycle also places a priority on job growth (vitally assured), then the big jump in job growth from Albright, PAMF, and the new jobs created by the No. 40 will required LG to provide more affordable housing. This affordable housing will no doubt bring more students. Thus, we can expect many more students being admitted to our already impacted schools. One solution is to bus them to Lexington.

It's utterly ridiculous that there would be any more housing built. Los Gatos is maxed out on traffic and people. Please don't continue to diminish the charm of Los Gatos.

This requires additional elementary, middle and high schools. What's the plan to build additional schools for the kids?
I agree this plan is not in the best interest of Los Gatos.
Stop turning our town in to Phoenix Arizona.
You can't build a community this big without building a school or 2...
