Scott Pruitt's appointment is an enormous threat to all the hard-earned progress this country has made towards addressing the environmental problems facing us. We fear for the survival of the EPA itself under Pruitt.

President-elect Trump's proposed administrators consistently lack even the most basic of mindsets, skills, or experiences to serve in their functions. This is a prime example. The person to be charged with protecting the environment does not admit to its greatest threats.

It's time our government lead with intelligence. Appointing Scott Pruitt to lead the EPA demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of climate change and utter disregard for the very planet and resources that sustain life. Donald Trump is acting reprehensibly and irresponsibly. I urge you to Rejecting Pruitt's appointment.
