REJECT PUBLIC GARAGE IN RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD

This garage would encroach the very residential, peaceful area surrounding 4th and 4th with more traffic and unwanted commotion. Plus being within walking distance to the beach, the beach does not need overcrowding anymore than what it bears now in high season. Conditions of purchase & use of taxpayers money does cause concern. Have been a resident of Naples since 1974, lived downtown many years ago and enjoyed the quaint small town ambiance, which is ever eroding. NO to the 4th & 4th Garage.

I feel the taxpayer money should be used for other things the city needs

NO to the garage. There are better uses for taxpayers money.

Lets not compete with Ft Lauderdale. Council has no clear vision as to the meaning of the Fifth Avenue South Overlay District Code - Division 6 Sect.581131. It's zoned Residential and must remain residential. Our summer afternoon traffic on %th Ave. is moderately heavy now. In season it will be more than bumper to bumper.

Enough commercial construction. Adding a garage in a neighborhood shows our local government is not in tune on how the residents of Old Naples want their tax money spent.

There are other options available that would aide in the issue and expand the "city limits" to encourage use across 41. Those should be considered.

Invest between 41 & Goodlette Frank or further East.

Please don't bow down to the developers. They can certainly fund their own project. Use the money to help more parts of old Naples.

Hijacking CRA funding to turn what should be a private endeavor into a public works project smacks of special interest influences. All of the alternatives for those funds are better than the garage.

Enough is enough. Let's try and maintain the beauty of Naples and stop all the commercial construction. Someone needs to stand up for the citizens.

I wish to see the charm and beauty of Old Naples preserved and for the residents to enjoy the wonderful facilities we have without this parking garage.

ONA please do not approve the building of a garage on 4th and 4th. We do not want this traffic nightmare in our neighborhood.

This garage does not appear to make any sense at all. It does not fit into the definition of how the money is supposed to be used. It does not appear to address an actual need. It appears to go against the majority of the City of Naples residents!
