I have lived year round in Naples since 1974 and am very dismayed at the drastic overbuilt changes in our town. The traffic is getting worse each year and as Jimmy Buffet said, we are paving paradise ! Stop this destruction of our town now ! No garage ! No free pass to the developers who don't care about Naples.

I do not approve of significant increases in the permitted density of land in Naples and do not support this parking initiative which is necessary for that increased density.

There is more to this town then how much more money the businesses can make on 5th avenue. There are people living here as well!

I am opposed to the tax payers funding this garage esp. since I am opposed to much of the recent developments on 5th. Let those who are changing the character of 5th for their own financial benefit fund the garage.

While additional parking downtown is necessary, this seems to be "overkill," and should not be undertaken without full consideration of alternatives

Focusing money and efforts on the East side of 41 communities makes more sense than funding free beach parking for non Naples taxpayers

Tax dollars should not go toward a private garage. It should also not have a large number of its spaces allotted to a developer.

I'm wondering what this is all about. I've never had any problem finding parking somewhere downtown, even in the winter season. So why do we need more parking garages? I think, at the very least, we should wait a few months until people have had a chance to return to Naples and discuss/consider this proposal.

The owners of the property should develop the land there.
The city can not afford a parking garage and it is a bad location.
