Meetings held in august when most are on vacation is an indication of a sleazy slip -shot deal. Who will benefit and profit? Certainly not the well established community whose existence enhances ALL residents of Naples.

I am a full time resident of Naples and definitely do not want a parking garage and its associated traffic within two blocks of my condo.

Not only will a new parking garage potentially encroach into the surrounding neighborhood, but it's unlikely it will be needed in the long run. The trend in most small cities is to close parking garages, not build new ones. We elected our council members to preserve the charm of Old Naples, not turn it into a crowded metropolis. There are enough of those already.

I see no need to add to the already congested area during season. There is no good way to protect the safety of the area after the garage is built. I say no garage.

This will "trash up" 5th Ave. Not why we elected you. Also not needed due to Uber and other coming tech advancements.

Other cities are closing parking garages due to increased use of Uber, Lyft and other car-hire services. It is much safer for citizens and visitors to use a driver who knows the area and hasn't had alcohol. This could be a waste of money that could be used elsewhere.
