I oppose the 4th & 4th garage project. The public letter from the city councilman outlined 16 points for why this program is not needed and should not be supported. I agree with his views.

There is so much happening to threaten the quality of life for Naples residents that it seems to me developers do do not have the appropriate concern about threatening the life of the "golden goose". They just don't want to be the last in but anything before the tipping point is ok with them.

There are better ways to address parking than to build a massive, multi story parking garage. A shuttle service, use of Taxis, Uber, Lyft, etc. A mixed-use building of condos and parking would be preferable and would retain the character of the neighborhood. Although we do not live adjacent to the proposed garage, I can sympathize with neighbors that object. It is too large and too many spaces are dedicated for use by The current owner. I think Councilman Doug Findlay has made excellent points concerning the proposed garage.

This garage is an unwanted and unwarranted intrusion into a residential neighborhood. In addition it cas not be cost justified to benefit a few business vs losing the character of our city. Please vote NO!

What possible, single, benefit does such a garage at the west end of 5th Ave S have for the residents of Old Naples?
This action is clearly for the benefit, in large part, of non-residents--business owners and tourists, and I'm not sure that it will be a net benefit for those returning tourists that enjoy today's Old Naples ambiance.
Please think again.

Not a very smart proposal politically. I not only speak for myself but for countless neighbors and friends from Port Royal to Park shore who vigorously oppose this garage and will work diligently against all who support it come election time. Do the right thing for the citizens of this community and stop pandering to carpetbagger developers

This will create more garbage and filth and put the cleanliness of our beaches in jeopardy not to mention the likelihood of greater crime. Please reconsider this shortsighted and foolish proposal

I don't see the need for the garage and think it is an inappropriate use of CRA funds. CRA should fund Baker Park instead.
