We just bought this home in Old Naples because, of all the places in Naples and indeed Florida, it met the requirements of being not crowded, non-commercial and, well, quiet. This development could destroy all of that and cause us to have second thoughts. Residential real estate will plummet if one cannot trust the City to look out for residents rather than developers.

As a resident of 629 6th Ave. S., and as a long time international commercial real estate developer, I think constructing this large garage at 4th and 4th would be a serious mistake. I am currently out of the country and out of Naples until September 12, so I am unable to attend meetings in person. Best regards, John S. Reuther

Please refrain from turning Olde Naples into Palm Beach. We all invested here because of the fact it was not Palm Beach. Also please hold these hearings and votes when the populace is in town. Sneaking this in in August is reprehensible.

A significant project of this magnitude should be thoroughly considered. It should not be rushed through during the summer while most of the tax paying residence are out of town. The community should have time to discuss options and consider how technology will alter our driving habits. Uber and self driving automobiles are coming on strong. Further more, a better place ,outside of neighborhood areas should seriously be considered. I vote no to this location and ask the city not to move forward.

Inappropriate in a residential neighborhood. It will add to congestion and detract from the charm of Olde Naples. Too expensive for benefit of a few businesses.

I think the public garage is not consistent with the neighborhoods character. The location so close to the beach will cause additional pressure on the beach and affect the quality of life for residents.

An additional parking gymnasium invites more cars into downtown during peak traffic times -- as per 5th Ave S business interests. Of course, too bad for the neighborhood. The abominable traffic will worsen. City Govt! Do a traffic study. Forget Central Ave - like and bike path decorations. Forget new parking monstrosities. Do a major traffic management upgrade. Then additional traffic[read business revenue], and additional parking, will make sense.
