The proposed project is incompatible with the neighborhood, and developers grossly underestimate the negative impact it would have.

The proposed development is wholly incompatible with downtown Fairfax City.

While this project may be economically favorable to the City, it will absolutely diminish the desirability and attractiveness as a special place to live in N.Virginia. The traffic situation will be badly aggravated, the safety of the city diminished, and the property values will suffer.
Another attractive townhouse development would be much more consistent with the current ambience of this historic city.

The Davies Development will bring constant traffic gridlock to the intersection of Route 123 and Main Street as well Judiciary Dr and Route 123. The intersection of Rt. 123 and Main Street is frequently blocked by west bound traffic on Main St in the afternoons. Fairfax City does nothing to alleviate the traffic at this intersection and I don't see the City exercising any traffic control going forward.

I am against this petition as I believe it will be detremental to the residents, property values and the city itself when residents like myself choose to leave rather than absorb the loss of property values, crime, noise and additional traffic congestion in a town where traffic is routinely gridlocked.

Fairfax City is a nice city from her history past and preservation so far. High density apartment will not fit into this center area of Fairfax City. It will destroy the most important part of the historical site of
Fairfax City..

I don't agree with the proposed rental apartments.
If the builder claims to target the millennials, the perfect solution to that would be a mix of Retail + Residential. For example look at Clarendon-Courthouse area or Mosaic District.

Chancery Square - please consider building townhomes similar to Chancery Square on this property instead of high density rental apartments.

I have signed but do not wish to donate funds. The web site would not allow you to disallow the contribution but I am donating nothing.

I live in Chancery Square and am concerned about the entry onto rt 123. It can be so dangerous when driving THROUGH Fairfax City.

The Paradign project is lucrative and beneficial only to the heirs, the city coffers and Paradign; Fairfax City residents are the losers. I am opposed to the project and to any council member who votes for it.

I support this petition. The arguments AGAINST the development FAR OUTWEIGH the only benefit - tax dollars. PLEASE seek an alternative development proposal that aligns with the long-term vision for our City and also generates tax dollars.

We are 22 year residents of Chancery Square and this new development will change the basic character of the City of Fairfax. It is enormous and will cause problems of lack of green space, traffic, environmental pollution, and the visual character of the city. I needs to be totally redesigned into a much smaller footprint.

this is really bad for the community and its gong to cause more traffic jams and a higher crime rate because of the influx of people to the Fairfax City area.

I am a 14 year resident of Chancery Square, moving here after 30 year career in the Army. I strongly disapprove of this project.
