No mountain bikes! No flow trails! Dangerous accidents in the making.
Time to vote out the city council members, and demand for open dialog between council & residents of MT Diablo communities. Shame on city council for planning changes without representation of all who live in the areas which feel the impact.

I live in Crystyl Ranch and do not need the hills destroyed by bikers. This infringes on all the local wildlife habitats and those should remain protected.

No I do not want bike trails to pass in these areas, especially due to fire danger we seeing now and in the future. State parks are closing down to protect land from fires. It would take one bicyclist’ tire to hit a rock and spark a grass fire. We are neighborhoods with children, adults including seniors. We purchased our homes as we loved the safety of our streets. The safety of ranches in these areas need to be protected as livestock and horses. Our streets would be unsafe as flocks of bicyclists would need to use our neighborhood streets to return to their vehicles. Parking on streets, parking lots would be affected. It is a conflict to have bicyclists on same trails as horses or walkers as it would scare horses and a person or persons could be hit especially since they usually ride in groups. I feel the cities and county need to find new trails not in a communities where people live and their safety should come first. These areas are suppose to be protected open space as there is so little of this left. Also who will clean areas or make sure trails are safe for bicyclist to travel on to prevent accidents due to uneven trails, rocks etc. we are neighborhoods not a playground

Trails that were once great for hiking are now rutted out, and hazardous for hikers dodging high speed riders, treating the area like a race course!

Please leave Lime Ridge a safe place for families to hike, without being afraid of bikers running them down at high speeds

We need to preserve the Open Space in its natural state, not develop it. This was the original intention when it was purchased by City of Walnut Creek and paid for by our tax dollars. This should not even be legally allowed.

I'm a 10 year old girl. The bikes are ok on the wide trails, but my mom and me are scared to use narrow trails because mountain bike riders go downhill as fast as they can and don't care about safety. Thank you.

Had one bike rider collide with my walking staff on a narrow trail. Fortunately the idiot didn't impale himself, but then again, it was a narrow trail marked for hikers only.

We need to stop the trails. The traffic now is crazy and creates a big problem for monticeto.

Would like to continue enjoying the open space safely as a hiker with my dog. Some bikers are respectful, unfortunately, there are many more that are not.

This is a terrible idea. I strongly oppose the proposed Lime Ridge Open Space FLOW Trails expansion project.

You cannot do this without the necessary environmental studies. It is hard to believe that you would do this without completing the proper studies AND getting agreement for the people who pay taxes in this city
