I am signing this petition to object to the lack of residents consultation of the OCP

We need to use common sense when looking at this. And yes. The TFN land and it’s development should be part of the Delta discussion

More discussion needs to occur before any of these ‘changes’ are implemented.

OCP too much too fast, not enough infrastructure in place ...feels like we are putting the cart before the horse

I echo many comments by opposing towers in Tsawwassen and six stories in the Village of Ladner. I also oppose the evictions of established businesses along Chisholm St. Why the RUSH?! Finally, a public hearing scheduled for 3pm on a workday? Perhaps this has been schedule3d for that time as many persons will not be able to attend. What happened to weekend or evening public hearing s? Com on Delta! Try listening to the people who elected you, and stop blaming the Province for your blatant desire to “revitalize” the Village. Shame on the lot of you. Most certainly I will not vote for you again.

There should be more transparency and not just push things through for your own agenda That is not how it works

There are not enough roads schools doctors to support the mass housing. We pay taxes and we want a say in where and what gets developed. NO TOWERS.

NO ONE WANTS HIGH RISE TOWERS….we are totally opposed to high rises in Tsawwassen!! If these high rises go through - we will make sure this mayor and council are VOTED OUT!!!! WE do NOT have the infrastructure to support this added population. Anything over 3 stories does NOT belong in that specific area!!

There is already an increase in housing in Tsawwassen . 1. Southlands ongoing development 2. Enlargement of Kin Village. Total of 798 units (Phase #1 -52 units currently being completed / Future- Phase #2 & Phase #3) 3. TFN have develop a large number of new units and with more upcoming, but their numbers are not taken into consideration. 4. Tsawwassen Springs - recently built 5. Smaller projects- eq, 12th Avenue, West of 52 Street 6. Additions from future changes in rules for Cottage houses and suites. *Therefore, City Centre Towers are not needed. They will also cause a loss of the small 'community' feeling and current businesses. *All of these projects already add to the infrastructure. I believe with combing the number of Tsawwassen developments with North Delta and Ladner, Delta will easily surpass the 5 year target of 3607 new housing units. I hope Delta Council will take time to listen.

No need for these densities. Reduce heights and densities and use the rezone process to approve anything over 4 stories. There is no rush for the OCP process to conclude

While many Delta residents can acknowledge and understand the need for more *affordable* housing, and the mandates the City and Province are under, this OCP process has been too rushed and full of half-truths and misinformation to allow an adequate and informative decision to be reviewed and considered. The OCP changes are not required until Dec 2025 and there is no reason to push through a rushed, inadequate and dangerously designed OCP that will have continuous unforeseen detrimental effects on the livelihood of residents

Among the reasons stated also no school dates available for the number of families Delta plans to bring here.

Nothing taller than 7 story buildings should be permitted in Tsawwassen or Ladner.

24 storey housing unit, are you kidding me?! This is a small community. That ruins the whole area. Over population, non adequate infrastructure and roads!

You are pushing us away from the community!!

My concerns primarily relate to the rushed engagement process, lack of infrastructure planning and the 20+ storey building in Tsawwassen Town Centre.
