Six stories is high enough. The tunnel issue has to be resolved before any more development

i just found a campaign letter by Beth Johnson, Wendy Jeske, Bruce McDonald and Robert Mountford. The issues raised regarding North Delta still have not been resolved. These include "inadequate hospital services, inadequate park facilities, the Imposition of heavy traffic... congestion on Scott Road. Pressure to allow more high-rises threatens to add to the congestion." None of these issues have been resolved. Instead, there are plans to make it worse.

Densification is okay but towers- NO WAY!

I do not like the speed and lack of transparency in this process.

We need to quit trying to push everything through so fast.

Stop building anything higher than 8-10 stories

Roads, schools, healthcare is not up to the task. That needs to come first.

The new Delta OCP is being rushed through and must be put on hold until the 3 communities have an appropriate opportunity to discuss the issues that may be different for each community.

High rise buildings should not be allowed. I agree this is too rushed and requires more community input.

Short sighted development proposal with no consideration for current residents.

Instead of densification around already busy hubs, I suggest the European model of encouraging business areas and housing closer together to avoid long commutes. The process is rushed to say the least.

A 24 story building, or anything like that, completely changes the look and feel of Tsawwassen. It is a poor idea. There are other models possible for Tsawwassen Town Centre.

The Tsawwassen town centre can not accommodate 24 storey high rises. They will destroy the “community feel” and overload our infrastructure. This increase in density will NOT reduce housing costs. Studies have shown that the opposite occurs!

The major and council need to listen to us the taxpayers as they are accountable to us.

I use and do much of my living in Tsawwassen. I have a second home in Point Roberts. Our voices need to be heard. I left the City for a higher quality of life and it sounds like PTB are trying to change Tsawwassen from a village to an urban metropolis. This would be devastating.

Please stop the insanity. Our community is growing far too fast. Roads, hospitals, schools can’t keep up as it is.

Please don't rush this process. We love the charm of Ladner and feel like this is going to be compromised with your new plan. Don't mind thoughtful development at all!

More time needed to make the OCP, and opportunity to comment on it, available to more residents of Delta/Ladner. A more wholistic response to comments and issues raised by residents would be nice.
