Do not consider this a nimby action. Densification is accepted- the issue is process and proposal

This direction is bad for the local community in the long run. Poorly conceived.

Due process is needed. This is being rushed at the excuse it is provincially mandated. The provincial government does not have jurisdictional authority over the regional governments

The City of Delta's own feedback form in "housing our future" shows that 287 people were not supportive of this approach to managing growth and 287 were supportive. Yes, the exact same number. 445 were "somewhat" supportive. Somewhat does not mean yes; it means a little or partially. The City needs a referendum on this issue.

And we could have had a bridge by now. 24 stories is inappropriate for Tsawwassen. Only two access roads and one of them can be closed in bad winters. It's too bad extending English Bluff to Hwy 17 was not considered to be an option.

High rises above SIX stories will greatly impact the visual landscape of Tsawwassen! High rises of 24 floors will immediately and ultimately destroy the charm Tsawwassen is known for. This community is unlike any other lower mainland community as we are surrounded by water on 2 sides and our third side is another country. The traffic every day along 56th street already now backed up light to light and Southlands development is still increasing residents. The only people wanting more than 6 stories in Tsawwassen are developers. Cannot fathom the ugly visual impact of 24 stories bringing shade and darkness to our sunny community that thrives on tourists to visit our beaches and quaint shops. I’m outraged. Big high rises do not belong in Tsawwassen!

I am against the proposed OCP for many reasons; however, the most outstanding is the potential for 24 storied buildings in the Tsawwassen town centre. This proposal will destroyed this community's fabric forever and this will be the legacy of this mayor and council.

It seems unfair to me that there is a 6 story limit to buildings in Ladner yet you plan on allowing many more stories in Tsawwassen.

More time and community input is required.

Rushed horrific plan and process. The City should be embarrassed by this plan they are trying to push through.
