REJECT DELTA'S OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN 2024 - PROTECT DELTA'S FUTURE: For present and future generations

I have lived in Tsawwassen since 1962 .The proposed development is completely out of character and proportion to the surrounding central area in terms of size and density.This is not Richmond or Vancouver .Maybe allow more giant buildings at Tsawwassen Springs but they do not belong in Tsawwassen.20% of rental units 5% below market is Insignificant and impossible to watch over. The province should stay out of the housing industry and not order new housing units be added if proposals like this are the byproduct !!!!!

Stop the ludicrous building, out infrastructure does not support. Stop taxing us to support yourselves. We can’t do any more.. just stop . Think about your everyone else, if you have a heart

Completely agree! At the same time I think that even for Tsawwassen Mills Mall area the 24 level high-rises are still way too high. No more than 7 floors will look better. :)

We reject Delta's OCP!!! No high-rises, ugly buildings or structures in Tsawwassen or Ladner!!! The proposed projects look absolutely UGLY, don't fit the community vibe and needs. Tiny Tsawwassen peninsula has only two roads in and out and there is already a traffic gam. If this plan is approved I urge Delta residents not to vote for current mayor and council!

No hotel in Ladner Village, no high rises in Tsawwassen or Ladner.

Definitely need to go back to the drawing board. They need to communicate far better than they have to date.

Reject the plan. Slow down growth to a more realistic level.

Time to look at the infastructure - where are the hotel guest going to park? What about the hour it often takes to get through the tunnel. I’m not against growth, but we need to solve a lot of the driving issues in delta before building more.

Leave the core of the village as is. There alreay is more than enough traffic.

Don’t do it! The town centre mall has so much potential to be a thriving community space.

These tall towers will destroy the beauty and community feel of Tsawwassen. We have already been increasing density through the southlands project and the 6 story building in Ladner.

I am the owner and resident of property in Ladner and reject the proposed 2024 Official Community Plan.

Important choice of "urban" planning!

There’s already too much traffic, it’s so hard to get around, and how can we have more people here with no doctors?

Way to forced by Mayor and Council

It's unfortunate that the 'local' (municipal) level of government didn't have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to the provincial level of government. This could have been accomplished by simply informing the provincial government that AFTER they've commenced (or provided for) necessary infrastructure (eg. schools, hospitals roadways, etc.) upgrades only then would the 'dictated' revised density provisions be approved & complied with by the various municipal levels of government. I believe that everybody agrees that increased density will be required as time marches on. However, the provisions mandated by the provincial government is definitely not the most appropriate method.

If you are not prepared to hear and act on input from your constituents you all need to be voted out of office
