As a 30 year resident with children growing up in this community now, they don't want to leave their friends, schools, neibourhood. I don't want to uproot their lives and move because I have no where to go. If we keep catering to outsiders and inviting the world in they will continue to destroy everything beautiful and BC will be the most expensive place on earth to live. It's already the most expensive in the NATION! My kids my parents (whom we live with) will all be homeless

I add to this that 6 stories is 3 too many for anywhere in the actual Villiage.

Mayor and council: Please listen to your constituents! After all, we pay your salaries!

My family moved here in 1966 . We lived on Farrell Avenue. There was only 5 houses on that street then. By the time I was in grade 10 there was no empty lots on Farrell Avenue. In 1987 I bought a house on 53A Street in Ladner. I raised my family here and my wife and I still live here and we plan on dying here. My children and grandchildren are going to be raised in Ladner and I want them to live their lives here like our family has. The point that I would like to make is, that our Ladner and Tsawwassen is FULL! It’s time for people to start building some other place just like my grandparents and parents did when they moved here. Our city is FULL! Simple!

No more 6 story buildings in the village! I only just heard of this location. The Dunbar Lumber site should never have been approved if it were up to the citizens. Villages are quaint and trendy. Similar to Steveston.

This is utterly ridiculous what they want to do. Add more people to our tiny downtown core.

What a shame to do this to small businesses.... pretty outrageous, Mr mayor is in it for the $$

A hotel in Ladner is not viable. you want to build retail space when you are closing down retail stores, does this make sense ? You want to attract people from out of town to the prposed new waterfront, which is the way to go, however you propose to build a hotel on the only parking lot in the area.
