I do not agree with all this construction. We do not need a hotel in this historic village. The condos don’t fit in either. A few buildings have closed or moved. All of Ladner should have a
Say because we have to live here.

Ladner Village for over 100 years has been the core for residents and business for South Delta. Redevelopment should be done with restoration of our Heritage. With the Densification make it house to bring families to live in not a tourist stop. Farming & Fishing families built and supported the village remember those families 4th 5th generation are still living in the community. Please no Hotel!

I’ve been here since 1972. Either in Ladner or Tsawwassen, mostly Ladner. This whole idea is just gross. It makes me so sad.

Keep our ladner the way it is safe and quiet for our kids we don't need more problems in our community I feel that whats doing this is just going to bring outside trouble to our fine community.

Ladner already has a hotel…The Delta Hotel, it’s hardly occupied! The unique businesses found in Ladner are a draw to our community. Businesses such as Heritage House Interiors in a heritage building are absolutely irreplaceable. The last thing a small gem of a village needs is a boutique hotel with a smattering of occasional guests. Our current city council members are an unfortunate laughing stock with their ‘vision’ seriously impaired.

The little town of Ladner does not need this. Mayor Harvie is selling us out to line his pockets

We just love those businesses which are there currently, and believe the entire village would suffer from their loss. In particular, a Hotel is not addressing our major housing needs, and fear it will be very under utilized, while adding nothing of great value to Ladner. It will not benefit current Ladner residents, as do the current businesses

Everything about the city’s proposal is wrong. The city should not be in the hotel business but rather supporting the existing local businesses to grow and survive. A diversity of shops makes Ladner unique. A hotel will not.
Effort needs to be spent on the riverside of the road to make the area attractive. The current overgrown empty lots do nothing for the area.

We need a permanent market and event location, not a hotel. The city needs to engage with community members to get a workable plan.

Six stories high definitely does not fit in with our little village. We already have two hotels in South Delta, so I do not see the need to spoil Ladner’s charm.

I am opposed to any building that would be so high in the location of the slough, that would block the that very veiw. It makes more sense to construct a seawall along the water for everyone to enjoy. people from all over come to
I'm opposed to any building along the water edge of the slough. Why not build a dyke with a seawall so more people can enjoy it. With rising ocean levels in the future, it makes sense instead of building an infrastructure that will require water protection later on. As well as a hotel taking the charm out of the village, do we really need one in the first place? It's not like Delta is a worldwide tourist destination.

I am all in favour of this. Ladner does not need a 6 story building that sticks out like a sore thumb, possibly turning a quiet and quaint village into something it is not. Plus, that would block my only view from where I live. I do not have a window, only a balcony. One view is facing towards a cement block- one of the stores, the other faces towards mt. baker- which is where the 6 story hotel would go. I vote NO! I just wish that the "higher-ups" would listen to us "little people" (They don't and won't)

Please keep the heritage charm of Ladner Village.
Definitely not a place for a hotel.
Marriott at Cascades Casino and Coast Hotel in Tsawwassen are plenty.
