"The people shall rule"society in general are really fed up of heinous crimes.Financial responsible members of families are brutally killed leaving families with financial burdens its like a double attack whilst criminals benefit with free bed and lodging.. Yes the state responsible for caring for them ,"so who cares for the families of deceaseds!"We must balace the equation . The forcust is more on the interest of criminals rather than a working taxpayer who contributes to the economy of this country. Laws must be created according to behaviour of society. Presently it demands of government to create more stingent laws to stablise crime situation thats affecting society and including a threat to tourism .Heinous crime by criminals are causing poverty and killing more people and causing financial burden on the state. Tourism and fear of investment by countries in South Africa is also affected due to serios crimes. We should look at all races thats affected by serious crimes . We must look at the bigger picture and change the constitution to instate the death penalty not in the interest of a race group /political party but in the interest of all South Africans . As a senior person / citizen i would like to guide the government in making a wise decision reinstate death penalty and weigh the decision in the future .Right know we need to rule crime with an iron fist .

A family of 7 were kidnapped and murdered, even robbed and raped... an 8yr old was molested and strangled by her father

This country is full of criminals Crime kills the innocent and if government gets away with it, the citizens think they can get away with it too. Lawlessness in South Africa.

Why should a murderer have 'Privilege of life's what about the life of the 4 toddlers that were murdered or the 7 people murdered by at least 1 known person.. or my father whose killers are roaming free still committing murders

The death penalty needs to be reinstated to prevent further heinous crimes from occurring, make South Africa a safe country.
