I believe perpetrators are getting free will and comfortable with their crime as the legal measure are not strict. Most of them get arrested, go out on bail and still continue with their crimes. Government must be strict with justice

It’s imperative that we reinstate the death penalty, in the hope that it invokes fear and makes people understand that enough is enough.
As women, we have endured so much. Speaking from my own experience, I am deeply pained and angry. I have a daughter, and constantly looking over our shoulders is exhausting.
Life sentences and rehabilitation don’t bring back our loved ones, while we’re left to coexist with perpetrators who may reoffend. Something has to change.

As much as I acknowledge that there are people wrongly accused of serious crimes like rape and murder, also we need to acknowledge how much criminals are getting away with murder and rape. So I believe that if the consequences of crime are not harsh criminals will always win and crime will continue because criminal know how weak our justice system is. They will always resort to crime because they know they will get free meal free education and few years doing time apply for parole and go free

As a woman living in South Africa I don't feel safe to move around freely, even at my home. I constantly worry over my children when I'm not around them. Death penalty will bring back dignity to the country. The perpetrators will be get what they deserve. Bring back the death penalty!

People are being killed left right and center and even when one is caught red handed doing this deed the court still says a person has a chance to be represented in court, why? If someone murders another person, they take away that person's constitutional right to life. It seems only fair that, by committing such an act, they forfeit their own right to life as well. Many criminals appear undeterred because they know the punishment is often less severe than the crime they committed.
