We, the undersigned, call on the government of South Africa to reinstate the death penalty as a legal form of punishment. We believe that in cases of heinous crimes, the death penalty is a necessary justice measure to protect society, ensure deterrence, and provide closure to victims’ families. Violent crime and murder is out of control. South Africa has the most dangerous cities on earth, minority groups are being slaughtered and nothing being done. We want a peaceful country where everyone can live in without fear and the only way is for murderers to face the ultimate punishment for what they did to others. The death penalty

To reinstate the death penalty is nothing to think of or to discuss. Just reinstate it. Stop treating criminals with gloves and give them the punishment they deserve. The justice system sucks in South Africa.

Agree only if proper evidence is found and proof, not for self defense, life for incidents life's regardless off race, can't waste tax people's money in prison for murderers, change is good so crime be fix, next our police needs to act same time when any crime is reported or going to happen, not listen,hear, next week work on case, justice delayed is justice denied.

There is no deterrent in SA. It feels like we are living in our own prison just to keep out thieves, not to mention those who just shoot you for your money and possessions. Bring back the death penalty or do like other countries. If they steal, cut off their hand.

Criminals are getting away because they know nothing serious happens to them. Brutal murders need severe punishment. Victims suffer lifelong trauma and though it may not bring their loved ones back, it can save another life or lives from going through the same fate.
