Crime in South africa, specifically violent crimes, is our of control. Many criminals spend minimal time in prison due to various reasons. There is no incentive to not commit violent crimes. The death penalty needs to be reinstated to deter and curb crime in our country.

Life is to cheap here in South Africa and the murders are getting more and more gruesome by the day
Life in jail for these murderers is like a holiday
They should face the same consequences that they committed, not just hanging or injections

We are tired South Africa. An innocent family...3 generations wiped. Joslin Smith still not found. A young lady expecting twins was murdered Infront of her 7yr old daughter, the list adds on....And these criminals get a wonderful life in jail. This must end. Bring the rope back. Death penalty we call for!!!!
