Due to the fact that there is now death penalty and due to the fact that a very low percentage of murderers and rapists are actually successfully convicted, we need the death penalty as deterrent for these barbaric crimes. Also the SA jails are too full and the law abiding tax payer must foot the bill. This is dubble jeopardy on law abiding citizens who gets punished for criminals' crimes. This is a totally unfair situation and it impacts very negatively on law abiding citizens' human rights.

We as South Africans have to look at the reinstate the death penalty because there is no justice towards the terrible crimes committed towards innocent families in this country many families left without clarity as yo what happened to their loved ones no closer

The families and friends spends a lifetime mourning the people they lose . The pain does not go away so why must the people doing these crimes still continue living their lives with our tax money paying for them . The people that lost their their life's are not giving a second chance so why must the murderers given second and sometimes more times to reform
