Even though this was not a rash decision and it is purely a finacial one, we need to come together as a community to find a way to fund this valuable resource. K-9's are a positive asset to law enforcement and help protect officers. Please reinstate Hershey.

K-9 units are an asset to the community that should be saved, not deleted!
The county has invested so much money and time in training Hershey it is extremely wasteful to retire him!
It would be shame for Hershey to be retired when his services are so valuable and he loves his job
Too many drugs up here to sacrifice a useful tool like the K-9 unit. Don't be stupid.
Dogs have proven their value over and over again. From police, military, and rescue.
