With the current and past push for standards related teaching and testing their is a lot of added job related stress on today's teaching staff. Let us retire with dignity!

We post 7/1/1989ers are getting close to reaching the Magical 90. Long-term planning is important. Please pass it soon, if ever, to allow us that option.

The Rule of 90 needs to be reinstated, or a whole lot of red tape ( state testing ) needs to go :-) I taught 34 1/2 years in public education and miss the kids, but not all the officials who think they know what's best for kids based on a few years experience.

Teachers need an option, don't cause people who are educating our kids to work beyond when the want- then they will just be putting in their time and that is not benefiting our future (our kids education)

The rule of 90 needs to be reinstated. As a retired teacher who qualified for the rule of 90 it is importantant that all teachers have this option.

I work hard as a public educator in Minnesota and have since 2003. I contribute half of all of the money that goes into my pension and it's unfathomable that 3% per year will automatically go away if I don't work until age 66. Imagine treating someone's 401K to that kind of loss. I love my job and am proud of my profession. I would love for Minnesota to recognize the inequities in the school system when some teachers have the Rule of 90 and others don't. Please reinstate the Rule of 90, Minnesota.

If I am allowed the rule of 90 it will make more money available to my district, plus I think it is unreasonable to ask people to teach to age 65.

Most teachers are not productive or effective at the age of 60+. Why would we want to keep them in our classrooms? This rule would help to allow younger, fresh teachers to get in our schools sooner.
