Have been an educator for 2 decades. One of the most important jobs in terms of contributing to society -- yet also, one of the most misunderstood, undervalued, and totally exhausting professions . We work in the trenches, fighting valuable and meaningful battles. Please respect that.

Great rule to reinstate. This will free up the salary for those schools with teachers at the top of the pay scale waiting to retire.

This was and is a good rule to have in place. Once you have the magic number of 90 who have earned your retirement.

The world of teaching is changing so much. Teachers are required to do more and students are getting more challenging. I feel it's imperative the Rule 90 be re-established. The profession is losing credibility due to this Rule being abolished and the payscale makes it difficult to survive with the sole income. Teachers are forced to get their Masters Degree and pay for it, too.

The Rule of 90 would benefit us all. Families, students, community...the list could go on!

As a 60 yr old teacher who had other careers in business/retail/management, I will NOT get in 30 yrs of teaching. I would like an alternative for someone like me---actually my years outside of teaching are every bit as valuable as those teaching ((25). Thank you.

Reinstate the Rule of 90 for Minnesota Educators - it is the right thing to do for those who give so much to our communities and who daily influence the future through educating today's children and young adults!

Also, consider retirement options for teachers who have worked in Industry before entering the teaching profession.

Teaching is a difficult and demanding job. This is a fair and reasonable way to give teachers options at the end of their careers!
