Political correctness discriminates against Christianity. Several cinema chains have pulled the Church of England's advert promoting prayer which was to be shown in the run up to Christmas, stating it may offend some viewers. Please sign this petition if you believe the advert should be reinstated.

It's such a beautiful and simple prayers.. And I think it can be prayed by a person of any faith or belief.. It's basically a child's cry to the father... We need it prayers more often..
No reason at all not to let it run. At best it reminds people what christmas is about and put them back in touch with their faith, at worst..well just ignore it. I can think of far worse things to have to listen to.
There might be coming a time of regret for what we have omitted now. Churchill asked the nation at the invasion from the Germans for prayer, there was an amazing result. In the Lord Prayer we ask for a Kingdom of peace and justice. People need to be reminded more than ever.
This action is discriminatory against ChristianIty on which the fabric of this country is built. If it happened against other religions there would be uproar.
Can't see why this ad should be pulled, it is baffling - offensive?! Hardly. I am subject to many many advertisments, and I take the view that many of their claims and/or products being promoted are absolute rubbish - however, at least I can see them and come to that conclusion for myself- I don't need or want someone else making my mind up for me! Protect freedom of speech.
A prayer of peace and comfort in troubled world. Show the lords prayer in cinemas and stop assuming offence for others who are more offended by your own actions banning it.
As a Christian I believe that we should promote our belief in the True and Living God, The Creator of all.

Britain is a Christian country and the Lord's Prayer part of the very fabric of our society. How can it be deemed offensive? Cinemas regularly show offensive adverts depicting sex and violence. Shame on them.
