Reinstate The Godalming Three

Last time I looked, this was a democracy? And as such people are entitled to join any alliance that promotes fairness and independence irrespective of party political belief dogma. Because I'm a member of the RCN doesn't mean I agree with everything they say and do. I'm entitled to make a adecision to go on a BMA march, Unison March or anything I feel promotes the dignity and welfare of others. And I want the same for these 3 individuals!

The expulsion of these incredibly loyal Labour members is unfair, short-sighted and puts the Labour Party in a very bad light. It should listen to its local constituency party's overwhelming support for a Progressive Alliance approach, and listen to its wider membership which also support this. As well as senior members in the Labour Party such as Clive Lewis. Immediate reinstatement would go some way to repairing the reputational and moral damage caused when they were expelled.

Come on Labour, fight the Tories, not your own loyal supporters.

This is part of the national leadership of the Party's disregard of the local constituency party's overwhelming support for a Progressive Alliance approach, and indeed of Labour Party Rules

These are three good people who have done nothing wrong. The Party shames itself in the decision to expel them. I am seriously considering after 40 years of active membership whether I can continue.

With more like these three, Jeremy Corbyn would be Prime Minister right now

Under our first past the post system tactical voting will always be an important way to try to defeat the Tories until we get a PR electoral system. And to expel loyal LParty activists in this way is the LP shooting itself in the foot. Reinstate these members and encourage such activism for change.

I am not a member of any national political party and will wish to be if this is the way the Labour Party treats such loyal ans dedicated workers

Having the best interests of the country at heart shouldn't warrant being kicked out of the party.

These three are good people, Labour needs them more than ever.

All three are excellent members. They were simply trying to unseat the Tory health minister.

As a strong supporter of progressive alliances, I am very disappointed in the position that the party has taken on this and in particular in its decision to expel three long-serving and committed members of the party.

Disgraceful that such noble actions in support of greater democracy should be so treated

three of the most dedicated, hardworking and inspirational members of my local branch have be expelled, what can I say?

These three are good people that love the Labour Party.

Expelled for working for the greater good - how can that be right?

I think this was a valid proposition in a bid to rid ourselves of the tories. Expulsion was a draconian reaction.

The party needs to look at these expulsions in the light of the wider context of unseating Jeremy Hunt and reinstate three dedicated labour activists. It seems expulsions are the only resort we have which is a sledgehammer approach.
