These three employees are entirely too valuable to lose over something so minor. From what I've heard all three employees had clean records, besides the occasional being 2-5 minutes late to work. Being in EMS, we have to find humor and make light of any situation we come across. Playing pranks an joking with each other is the only way we remain the compassionate EMTs the world sees. There has to be good with the bad. It was a simple prank, there are others who have done much worse who still have jobs. I believe this "punishment" was not only wrong but also disrespectful to the EMTs. After countless years serving their community an the countless hours spent volunteering as well as classes to improve patient care and personal knowledge, one simple prank causes every county official who said "I've got your back" to turn their backs on them an not give them a chance to explain or give them another chance. That is disrespectful. Look at all the comments. All the patients or patients family members who are going to bat for these great EMTs, that should say something to everyone. Not just the county officials. I pray for these employees every night that their families an themselves are in good health an good spirits an that they finally get the recognition an reinstatements that they deserve.

I fully support the reinstatement of these 3 personnel to the same roles and positions they previously held. It will be to the detriment of our community to lose their knowledge and professional skills in the medical field.

I saw how much my brother loved his job and helping the community. He excelled in his profession and was worthy of a due process. These employees were not given appropriate representation to speak their side of the events that took place and thus have served a county whose elected officials turned their backs on their service, making a harsh and rash decision. Everyone should be allowed fair process and judgement. My disgruntlement is with the lack of respect for these individuals and their established pattern of service.

Someone took this way too far. It is very obvious someone took this opportunity to get rid of excellent employees for his own benefit. They should all be reinstated.
