Dissent, especially that of Ms. Teicholz, is essential to keep the vested interests from controlling food policy to their own profit and to the detriment of the people.

Nina's truthful journalistic research is threatening to the old guard nutrition dogma that doesn't pass the scrutiny of recent scientific research.

There is no one better versed in the science and the politics of U.S. human nutrition policy over the last 50 years than Nina Teicholz. She knows where and how it went off the rails and she knows the current peer-reviewed science that contradicts the "conventional wisdom." There is a crying need for our nutrition policy to be pulled back to real science, not pseudo-science and old guesses. She needs to represent citizens who desperately need accurate nutrition and health guidance on this panel.
