I read many of the papers she cited in her book and the science was there to show that butter, meat and cheese are not the deadly foods that they have been portrayed by the Keyes and his bunch. Reinstate Teicholz.

The truth must not be silenced, no matter how inconvenient or uncomfortable it may be.

I smell the strong arm of corporate money. What a shame when the population's health is at such risk. Will we ever get out of this mess?

It's a sad day when the "free world" finds itself beholding to groups with the global responsibility of health, hog tied by lobbyists who are defending their "death style marketplace"... shame on you.

The consumer needs a voice on this panel that has the health of the people as a driving force. Let science guide our nutritional guidelines.

It's outrageous to try to squelch a dissenting opinion - how is this in the public interest? Reinstate!

It should be about the science - not the commercial interests

Debate from all points of view keeps our society healthy, strong and free not suppression. WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF?

This smells like a threatened junk food industry is trying to fight back. The avalanche is already on the way and the participants in the "freeze out" are making fools of themselves instead. Nina is one of the best food history writers we have.

Only those with a vested interest in the status quo would oppose someone bringing an alternative view. If the alternative view is correct/accurate/truth, this will become evident in due time, regardless of suppressing it now. The suppressors will then also be known for their role & motives.

True science is never afraid of debate. Dogmatists always are.
