Please reinstate Nina Teicholz and let's have real representation and a real discussion! Thank you so very kindly, from the bottom of my healthy-and-want-to-stay-that-way heart! And may others have the knowledge to be able to as well!

He book helped me lose 40lbs - it made me aware of carbs being the enemy. We need them, however we don't need as many as our governments are saying we need!

I'm glad she was disinvited. She has no scientific background whatsoever. She's a poser that paranoid people glom on to.
Just read the Big Fat Surprise. If anything the other members of the panel are the ones that should be disinvited. Let's get science back in the conversation, and stop the politics.

As a researcher, author and someone working in the trenches with health care and human suffering I have a special appreciation for the nature of Teicholz's work. It is meticulously researched, dead-on accurate and this information deserves to factor in to badly needed policy changes. A change of paradigm is clearly required to effect change in the direction of healthcare and government policy-making failures of the last century. Policy discussion should not be controlled by those responsible for getting us into this mess in the first place. Censorship is not the way to get healthcare out of its current quagmire. Reinstate the legitimate discussion and Nina Teicholz.
Reinstate her, for pete's sake! Wake up!
Lets keep science in our dietary guidlines

Credibility demands unbiased panel members...not Potato board sponsors.
Independent science is to be respected
It's time to open outs eyes to the truth behind the obesity epidemic.
Do the right thing
Food policy opinion leaders, pick your anchor — inconvenient truths,or reassuring lies?
