Reinstate Stewartville (Chatfield) gymnastics and community Ed

Our children need to experience all kinds of sports and activities that train their bodies and minds. Dance is apart of this. It gives them the opportunity to be physical, interact with others, and to see other teammates and make friends. It also teaches them respect, dignity.

Girls sports are not something we get rid of to save money!

Please continue cause he means a lot of the girls..

This should not be about money, it is about the children that this decision will affect

This is a program that builds strong willed girls! It takes confidence to walk out on that floor alone and show everyone your skill.

I started taking gymnastics classes at Stewartville when I was in elementary, and then joined the team when I reached middle school. Stewartville/Chatfield gymnastics was a part of my life for a long time and it taught me many valuable lessons I would not have had if I wasn’t a part of this program. I learned how to be courageous, realized that I could accomplish something if I put my mind to it, and made the best friendships that I wouldn’t have had without it. I still use the values I learned from this program today, and it would be so disheartening to see it go away and know that the students at Stewartville and Chatfield would not be getting the opportunity and experience I had. KEEP Stewartville/Chatfield gymnastics!!!

The Stewartville Gymnsatics Team meant the world to me in High School. Coming out of competitive dancing, Stewartville Gymnastics gave me a place to learn proper work ethic, grow as a gymnast, and even gave me and others a place to make friendships that deeply impacted me. My family could not afford for me to be in club gymnastics, so the Stewartville team was such a gift. Although we were not the most "successful" team around, our care for one another and excitement to try new things was vibrant. I grew in my self worth while being on the team as well as my confidence in my strengths as a teammate and person. I only have fond memories of my time in it and would be deeply sorrowful to see it go. I hope it stays around so that it may impact others the way it impacted me.
