Please keep this program. Too many kids have gone through the program and have been successful.

The decision to abruptly end the Science Minors and Achievers program at a time when the teens and community needs it most is an incredible disappointment. I hope MSI will recognize the value of the youth and and staff involved and reconsider.

This program sparked my love in science. I wouldn’t be who I am without the lessons I learned from my time volunteering in this program.

This program was a fantastic experience, it really helped me come out of my shell as a very shy teenager. I think it provides a wonderful opportunity for kids with a passion for science to share that passion with others. Cutting the program would be a depriving the community of something wonderful.

This is hands-down one of the best programs in the city. I hope the museum can use all of its creative energies to garner financial support to develop a remote curriculum that continues to inspire our young people. let these circumstances be their project-based learning experience. There’s some magic that can come out of this.

I love the science minors & achievers program. I learned a lot and I met great people. The amount of knowledge and skills I learned from MSI I couldn’t have learned anywhere else. I was in the program from my 8th grade year until my junior year in high school.

This program did so much for me, and it would be a shame if other young people like myself couldn't grow in this program. When I think back on my high school years, being an Achiever is a highlight. When I was forced to take an extra year of high school because of a serious physical injury, this program made a potentially dark time in my life bright and positive. Don't let this program die.

The Science Achievers Program helped shaped me into the adult that I am todas. The service hours, the science and the networking done every Saturday helped me build my interpersonal skills. I only hope that this program can continue to help other teenagers around the city of Chicago.

This program has allowed hundreds of youth across Chicago and its suburbs to grow in not only their science knowledge, but their public communication and other important soft skills. This program has helped develop the leaders of tomorrow.

The science achievers program is a crucial way for the museum to foster scientific thought and public speaking skills within a young community. It is a shame and a waste to cut off a program which has been contributing to intellectual growth since the beginning

The science minors and achievers program is more than just a Saturday activity, it is a family of like minded individuals pushing each other to a common goal of success. This economy may rough now and budgets are being cut, but this is the group that breeds the individuals to fix such problems.
