Reinstate the Museum of Science and Industry Science Minors/Achievers Program

It would break my heart to see this program terminated. It has provided me with so many learning and enriching opportunities along with great and intelligent friends.

I cannot believe the museum is getting ready of this program. I was part of it and it put me to where I am today. It provided me the skills, education, passion, and experience that my regular school never gave me. This program saved lives.

This program has been one of the greatest life-changing experiences for me! I hope this program will continue to help students discover their passion for science and education!

My daughter waited nearly 4 years to join this program. She was finally able to join in fall 2019 and was looking forward to resuming next fall. This is heartbreaking.

They deserve that money during a nationwide pandemic when they need it most

I graduated the program in 2017, it helped me prepare for college and was an amazing experience unlike anything else!

This program means a lot to me, think about never being able to see everyone again breaks my heart.

This was the best program I’ve ever attended and it was my second home. I met some of my best friends at the museum that I will have forever not to mention all the incredible opportunities that the museum provided. High school would not have been the same if it wasn’t for science achievers/ minors.

The museum has done so much for all of us. My family has a reputation at the museum as a volunteering family because regardless of my age, I have volunteered for Rene and Matt many times.

The science achievers program helped me become the person I am today, I value my time here just as much or not more than when I was a part of the Boy Scouts of America.

This program is amazing, and it has helped spark my love of science. I cannot imagine my life without it!

This program is a benefit to young scientist and medical professionals. Who would cut such a program. Please reinstate the program.

I met so many amazing people through this program. It gave me a chance to be productive every Saturday morning during the school year and do things that other highschoolers weren't doing. The program was my safe haven.

As a graduate of this program, I am saddened to hear this news. The Science Achievers program was an essential part of my high school days. The people I met throughout my time with MSI have been extremely supportive of my aspirations and overall life. This program gave me opportunities that I could not have found at other places. Because of this program, I consider MSI one of my safe places and what I would consider to be home.

The museum has given me the opportunity to be something greater. Its shown me how to connect with others, and teach to all ages. We need to reinstate the Museum!
