Reinstate Sara Cobb to CACC Cat Transfer Team

Really? Kicking her out because she wanted to HELP kitties? Isn't that what you people are supposed to be doing? I'm very disappointed in you.

Sara helped me rescue two of my neighbor's cats. She has a wonderfully positive attitude. It's critical that she be allowed to continue her work at CACC.

Volunteers are the glue that keep rescue organizations together. To let someone go because they exercised their First Amendment right in favor of the kitties, I'm sure. Please reconsider adding Sara Cobb back to the team. Volunteers who do the work that the CACC Transfer Team are very hard to come by.

How can you dismiss a dedicated volunteer when you are so overcrowded and understaffed? How does that further your mission? Please reinstate Sara!

Every life saved is a victory, please don't dismiss those who volunteer their time to make that happen.

Thank you Sara for being a wonderful mentor on the transfer team to me and for always standing up for what you believe in. It is unfair that CACC is trying to censor you for speaking up whenever you saw something wrong. You always handled yourself in a professional manner and took the feedback to them directly when you could have easily gone public and created a lot of drama for them. Last time I checked CACC is a government facility and as such, it is owned by the people. Our tax dollars pay for this place and as such we the people need to have a larger voice in what happens here. We need more people like Sara who aren't afraid to speak up, and then perhaps we will actually have some real change. It needs to happen, thank you again Sara for all that you did and all that you will continue to do.

Cacc is a facility where most employees do as much as possible, to make sure every animal gets adopted or placed in a rescue. But there are some people who would be content to let animals be taken in, and euthanized after a short time. That is not animal welfare; that is animal euthanization. She was a volunteer who made a difference, and in this time of cost cutting, volunteers like her are needed to give Cacc a much needed beetr public image.

CACC needs all possible volunteers. No matter what happened, Sara tried her best. Let her come back and learn to do better, even if there are compelling reasons for this dismissal. People learn and grow. If she inadvertently harmed and animal I am sure she is punishing herself more than anyone else could do it.

I am astounded that a fierce supporter should have her volunteer status taken away. The work that Sara did was a much needed service for kitties in dire need.

Sara's advocacy for the most difficult pets to be placed hould be rewarded not punished. Reintate Sara Cobb.
