I personally never worked with Dr Kali but my twin sister who passed away due to suicidal drowning in November 2022 did work with Dr Kali for a number of years. She spoke very highly of her and when the news came to her about her termination my sister was super upset. She believed that Dr Kali was a big reason of her living and the treatment of therapy and her therapy pets where a big glue part of her life and from not coming undone. So I am signing this petition as Tanya Luke and I know if Natasha was here with us today she would also .

This woman is a nutcase and deserved to have her license permanently revoked. She gives mental health professionals a bad name. Thankfully there are amazing trauma therapists out there who actually know how to help heal those of us with major trauma. Debra Miller was not one of them.

There seems to be a pattern of 'abuse of power" and out of control boards . the public needs to be aware how they are railroading healthcare workers . Unfortunately the public and other healthcare workers would rather believe corrupt boards, than the truth. The most underhanded tactics are used by these boards who have been weaponized by those who are suppose to over see their actions but instead let them do what ever it takes to destroy a good Dr. , while using "protecting the public" as their back up nonsense. When it is the board and it's members the public needs protection . They have all the tax payer money to spend. The Sham OAH courts, the ALJ's , all state actors. When will people get involved? Only when it affects them .

How exactly does destroying Dr. Miller's entire career and depriving her patients of competent care "protect the public"? Shame on the OBPE!

The injustice done to Dr. Miller is horrific but unfortunately not uncommon. This is true for many practitioners -- therapists or medical doctors, in Oregon or in other states -- when good providers practice outside of mainstream convention. Stand up for your good providers if maligned by licensing boards.

I have witnessed the dedication and commitment Dr. Miller has provided those in need over the course of her life. Any time keeping her away from her life-service is a disservice to our society.

The aggression against Dr. Miller by OBPE is figuratively criminal. In time, I believe that OBPE's behavior will be regarded as literally criminal. OBPE should reinstate Dr. Millers license, confess their inexcusable wrong-doings on National TV, and then, all be dismissed from the board publicly and in shame.

I adopted 2 Fetal alcohol effected children. 1 at 6 yrs and the other at 16 months. Both diagnosed with RAD and the oldest severe trauma. We used holding therapy and attatchment therapy for our baby daily for 3 yrs. although developmentally delayed our son has no attchament issues and is very loving and empathetic,. Attachment therapy WORKS . It rewires the brain to recieve and express love and to be loved and safe. This is tragic for these children who need it. My older son did not respond as well unfortunately and still struggles with PTSD RAD OCD Fetishism and is a convicted felon due to abuse an unwillingness to participate in his healing. His therapists arent to blame they were committed to him. Accusing a therapist of a traumatized childs later behavior is ludicrous . I totally agree with Dr, Millers style it was life changing for my younger son
This therapy could have changed my older sons his life if he had gotten help sooner. It saved my younger sons life. Traumatized children need This I know I lived it.

Kali is so amazingly brilliant and compassionate when comes to helping children. She gives 110% of her heart to helping abused and neglected kids. Many have had miraculous results after a few sessions, and are like night and day. Absolutely astounding. Kali was a priceless asset and a key player in helping give children and parants alike their lives back.

Dr. Miller's heart for the children shines through everything she does. It has been an honor to know such a shining example of love and kindness. I know many families that have healed and are thriving because of the gentle heart of this great lady and wise mental health professional. This outrage has to be stopped!

All healthcare boards in Oregon are corrupt. They hide behind the façade of Administrative law to deny licensees their constitutional rights such as Due Process, Discovery and Equal Protection under the law. They use fictitious "experts". They allow the use of hearsay during hearings which means you have no opportunity to cross examine the supposed witness(es). The individual who is the common thread to all these healthcare board criminal behaviors is Oregon State Assistant Attorney General Warren Foote. He is a bully. He along with folks like Executive Director of the Medical Board Kathleen Haley destroy healthcare providers, families and patients. Once they are done you will never get another license in your profession in this country. See drdovervsomb.weebly.com and drogle.weebly.com.
Dr. Miller is the recipient of this same abuse. Do not trust what these boards write. They are one sided lies.
The biggest problem besides the healthcare psychopaths themselves is that they get absolute immunity for anything they do. Therefore there is no way to challenge them in State or Federal Courts. See the above two websites for evidence of this regarding Federal Court cases.

Dr. Miller is the reason that my daughters are healthy, happy teen-agers who love their family, enjoy life, and confidently anticipate the future. Adopted at twelve and eighteen months, their early trauma and loss exhibited as anxiety and difficulty with healthy attachment. Dr. Miller persistently and lovingly guided our family with sensitive therapy and practical advice. I learned valuable parenting tools and felt supported in every way by Dr. Miller as we worked to help our girls regain what they had lost. For the rest of my life, I will be thankful to Dr. Miller for healing their broken hearts.

Dr. Kali Miller was a Godsend to our family during a time when we thought our daughter was destined for long-term residential care. After five years of getting help from Dr. Miller and others our now 14 year old daughter is a healthy, well adjusted, beautiful young lady. We often hear from her teachers, youth group leaders, doctors, and others how respectful, responsible, kind and a great leader our daughter is. In fact, one teacher she had this year has told her over and over again that she is one of the best students as far as quality and effort he has had in all his years of teaching. Her pediatrician can't believe the young lady she sees now compared to the scared and angry little girl she used to be. Those who knew us when Bethany was fighting through her attachment and trauma breaks tell us she is walking breathing miracle. Dr. Miller was instrumental in helping us learn how to reach and parent the young lady who was handed to us at 13 months old after spending over a year in a neglect filled Chinese orphanage. Dr. Miller was always kind and loving towards Bethany and us. She was never harmful towards any of us and to this day Bethany absolutely loves and adores Dr. Miller. She never felt afraid around Dr. Miller. She never felt threatened. She never felt anything but safe and secure in how Dr. Miller spoke to her and interacted with her. Dr. Miller is one of the best therapists I know of who works with family's like ours and kids who have come from traumatic backgrounds like our daughter came from. Even more far reaching, is the fact that without Dr. Miller's love and expertise not only would our daughter still be a very unhealthy hurting young woman, but my husband and I would most likely have ended up divorced and my entire family would have suffered greatly. Today, though, my family is fully intact and so much better off and healthier than we were before going through this journey. I fully support and will speak to anyone and any court anytime about Dr. Mi

We saw Dr. Kali, our "heart doctor", for several years in an effort to find healing for our traumatized, attachment-challenged child. From the beginning, it was obvious that she understood attachment and trauma in ways that other professionals we'd seen did not. At each visit she provided us with multiple parenting strategies, all designed to build relationship and heal trauma. But she also helped the rest of the family. Our children without trauma backgrounds were suffering from living with a traumatized sibling. She gave us strategies to keep them healthy and strengthen those bonds too. It's scary to think where our family would be today, were it not for her amazing gifts. Today, ALL of our children are happy, healthy, productive members of society. It saddens me to think of how many families are missing out on the gifts she gave our family. We consider Dr. Kali a HUGE blessing. She changed our lives forever. For the BETTER!!
