Reinstate Peter Schubart as Music Director at St. Martin's

Shame on you! Despicable. Shame on you!

Peter is a staple of St. Martin of Tours. This is unjust, and I am sure the parishioners would be unhappy about him losing this position.

Peter and his family are an amazing asset and their music enriches the spiritual experience for the entire community. Mass is not the same with out Peter! Please bring him back!!!

So unfair and not done in a Christian

Peter is a fixture at St. Martin’s masses. This would be a devastating loss to the parishioners. He is supremely talented and provides a much needed musical presence in the parish.

The experience of attending St. Martins is significantly reduced without Peter. A tremendous loss! Please reinstate!

Peter Schubart’s ability to create a wonderful music ministry has been appreciated by so many....he is missed and cared about!

Peter Schubart is a big part of the reason I was able to follow my dream and become a professional classical soloist. Because of the many professional opportunities that Peter afforded my husband Jeffrey and I, we were able to hone our trade, make a living and work with fabulous musicians! For the last 40 years I have sung as a soloist with many major symphony orchestras in the United States and Europe but quite honestly some of my best memories EVER are Christmas Eve services at St. Martin with the angels that sang in the choir and played in the orchestra. Jeff and I sang For many years at St. Martin as cantors, choristers and soloists. Peter’s incredible talent and energy made performing and praising God an amazing delight ! My heart is broken to hear the news of his dismissal! I hope that this can be altered.

It would be a great loss to loose the music at St Martin's church. Peter Schubart needs to be reinstated.

Peter is a rare gift to the community. His departure would represent a tremendous loss. Please reinstate him.

Music is prayer and a way for a whole community to share their joys and sorrows. Peter at the helm of the St Martins music program has enriched our mass and therfore our community. I sincerely hope he is reinstated and returns to share his gifts with the whole parish.

Praying that Peter’s exemplary character and musical leadership (Juilliard School graduate, 38 + years of dedicated service at St Martins in Amityville) and his wonderful music ministry \ team at St Martins will again soon be Praising GOD by their musical talents and pleasing our LORD (and us) so very much under Peter’s musical leadership. What a CHRISTmas gift plus 2021 boost Peter’s musical director reinstatement would be for the parish and for the Diocese of Rockville Centre, NY!!

I was heartbroken for Peter and for all of us who so enjoyed his music when I heard he was no longer at St. Martin's. I have many happy memories at this church because of Peter. It is my fervent hope that he will be reinstated.

The music director at St Martins, Peter Schubart, has created a beautiful musical tradition at our church on Christmas Eve and Christmas day for over 30 years. This musical religious tradition must continue. Please help us keep our wonderful music director, Peter Schubart. He has done so much for St Martins and it won’t be the same without him.
