Reinstate the Pass/Fail Option for the Fall Semester at the University Of Alabama

classes being online for the entire semester has taken a serious toll on learning

It was such a blessing to be able to come back to school and have sense of normality. But the majority of everybody’s classes are still online and most of our benefits have students have been taken away such as library access and ODS accommodations, all because of covid. Our semester is about to go completely online soon, so it would only be fair to the students to give us the option again of pass/fail. Please give us every chance for us to succeed when so many obstacles have gotten in the way of our achievements.

Please, these teachers are not good with teaching online classes. They are making if extremely hard too

Online classes are harder than y’all think and the transition is not that simple I have professors that aren’t that good at teaching online because I don’t know what they’re doing on zoom let alone anything else

I think this policy will help out all the students who suffer from the crazy amount of time spent doing online classes. This is making it difficult for the lack of in person contact.

All my classes are inline and it is extremely difficult to keep up with all my assignments and learn new material.

While I feel that others had ample time to decide for themselves the best course of action for this semester - be it staying home and attending class, taking a gap semester, working, or otherwise - I feel that not allowing students the Pass/Fail option disadvantages those who have been disproportionally affected by COVID.

All of our classes are online. If we can’t have a normal instruction or lectures, we should be able to have a pass/fail option
