Also, 3 years ago an elderly respected scholar Hazrat Maulana Idris who teaches high kitabs at Darul uloom Leicester was brought in to the Masjid as an Imam and Principal. But the Trustees disrespected him too and put alot of undue stress and pressure. His family, students and friends could not bear to see him going through such hurt at an old age. He then left. So what makes you think.... Anonymous views, that bringing in an older experienced Alim will create unity in the community when it is your very friend Najeeb & Co who are the problem?

Anonymous views, stop lying and manipulating your experiences to make mufti look bad. Besides why have you put Northampton when you live in Leiceter local to the Masjid. Muftisab has never taught in Darul uloom. Also, it seems that you are grieving and therefore using such an excuse to defame mufti. May Allah guide you and grant your father Jannatul For. But please don't expect mufti's life to stop or be put on hold to support you. If he did say you were busy then it was up to you and make contact with another Alim or maybe visit GP to get counselling. May Allah make it easy for you

That's exactly what I'm also saying. People donated for the mosque. So, the committee need to listen what they are saying, whether they are naïve or not. Committee members are also humans- they cannot always be right.

Please reinstate Mufti Ziyaul Haq and may Allah forgive all of us

DO NOT REINSTATE I have had a very negative experience with this mufti. When my father passed away I rang him for support and guidance, unfortunately his response was to say that i work at a Dharul Uloom, I am very busy, don’t ring me. He lacked the compassion, humbleness and empathy required to support me and what I was going through. He showed more interest in organising the weekly footie then what I was going through. The mufti many have knowledge but he lacks experience which will come with age and maturity. We need a more experienced mufti that can bring unity and build a cohesive community. DO NOT REINSTATE

You clearly do not know Mufti Saab well enough as he is wise beyond his years and is very compassionate. He has helped many people through some of the hardest times of their lives and is always there for the community. He may be younger than most Imams but he is right for this community and has been since day one. Ps. Thanks for signing the petition to get him reinstated.

DONT WANT HIM REINSTATED!! Reapply for the job Mufti after 10 years when you are wiser, experienced and have compassion. Knowledge alone is not sufficient to get you the position, you need to be humble, compassion and have maturity!

Just because we respect someone doesn't mean they are always right. I'm calling the community , you and myself naive in folliwing someone without queztion that maybe there i a possibility that they are in the wrong because we are human. We shouldn't get too emtional the mosque was wasnt based on him being the imam it was for the collective.

Im not affilated with anyone. I only touched on the topics that where mentioned in some of the posts. However the Mufti will have a letter outlining every single reason which if he wishes can disclose this is his secret to share not the trustees.
