If we can forgive and embrace a revert for the greatest sin he may have committed i.e. kufr then why can both parties not get together and call the community. Sort it out and forgive eachother and the Trustees sincerely need to apologise to Mufti.

Is it a registered charity?
Do all fundraising funds have to be declared to the charity commission?
Who manages the donations?
Who signs things off?

From this day onwards I have held mufti in great esteem as I have not even felt this way with other elderly ulama in Leicester. I really hope something good comes out of this petition. I hope no harm comes upon anybody

I felt sad, then a humble voice came from behind me saying assalamualaikm and I turned around and it was mufti taking his hand out with a smile. It was the first time we met and he took time out making me feel comfortable while the rest of them were sniffing the money from the rich boys.

I actually know Mufti really well. Alhumdulillah I've had the pleasure of or should I say displeasure of meeting the Trustees and Shuraa too. Unfortunately the Trustees and Shuraa won't remember me as I didn't stand out from the crowd as I had no money they could make salaam to. From what I observed, any rich man that was known to them was given so much attention. It was as though their money was being worshipped.

1. Sack the whole committee
2. Re-instate Mufti Ziya ul Haq as imam.
3. Mufti to appoint a new committee from among the masjid community.

So from your answer you must have seen the documents also heard both sides of the story or is it that we want to believe the mufti.
Either are we all believing what we want to about someone we deeply respect.
Or our own previous convictions about the trustees are being used to pushed the muftis personal agenda.

It is not necessary to be a committee member or molana to know the goings on. It is only necessary to have the curiosity and interest to find out for yourself.

Go ask Hazrat Maulana Idris yourself? He'll give you an answer why he left? Ibrahim Mogra tried to take over but it didn't work according to plan. He entered on women during bayaan. He sat in front of women and made them feel uncomfortable. This was not an interfaith programme or something. May Allah forgive him and I'm sure he is wise enough to learn a lesson from the incidents

Anonymous Anonymous you seem to know alot? You said you're not a trustee but seem to be saying what is supposed to be confidential. Are you Najeeb Patel? Mohamed Karolia? Suleman Nagdi? Ibrahim Mogra? Suleman Chahia? Suleman Makadam? Ahmed Lorgat or Bashir Dassu?

Instead of accepting that mufti saab shouldn't have said he was too busy for 'Anonymous Views' people are being extremely insensitive towards this brother's loss and defending mufti saabs actions here as well. A real community man is never too busy for his community.

Flimsy accusations were made.
Evidence lacking.
No hearing held.
Dismissal was pre determined.
You call that a fair process?

Dear Anonymous Brother,
Sorry to hear about your negative experience.
Many people of our community had completely opposite experience and those people have also written here on this petition. If 3-4 of you (3 of them are anonymous) are saying he shouldn't be reinstated, 300 people are saying he should be reinstated.
Only Allah knows the best. People who are trying to defame him will get what they deserve. Insha-Allah.
