Re instate Mufti Ziya or face the wrath of Allah...remember the ulama are the inheritors of the ambiyaa...you are just committee members who have no interest for deen in the community. Reinstate Mufti Sahib and resign yourselves you unworthy animals

Unfair dismiss of the muti Saab, kids at the madrasah love and miss him. “Committed” members have a personal agenda not the interests of this community. We want our imam back in he’s rightful position at the masjid he worked so tirelessly for

Mufti Zia is a very sincere person. I will give him professional advice on how to challenge the decision and take the committee to court and claim huge amounts in compensation for unfair dismissal.

The committee has made a disgraceful decision of removing our imam, who is always there for this community, it’s rear to see such humble and committed imam, who everyone young and old feel they can approach. He is the backbone of this masjid, he’s effort and selfless work has been witnessed by this community.

AssalamuAlaykum my brothers and sisters. This is a sad state of affairs we are in. I have seen the love and devotion offered by our respected Imaam towards the masjid and community going beyond the call of duty from day 1. The trustees need to be coherent and transparent in their actions as far as I can ascertain. A plausible explanation to the community is inherently needed to pacify and answer everyone. Formulating decisions of this nature with no public consultation will lead to friction and mistrust against the committee causing fitna in our midst. May Allah SWT guide us all in resolving this matter amicably.

This termination of employment is wrongful and unjust. I personally feel that the community should decide who becomes the imam.

All the parents and children are with mufti Saab. We all love and respect him and we demand committed members not to pursue their personal interests. Leave the house of Allah out of politics and your personal gain. There are so many people making dua against the committee memebers. Allah knows what will become of them

Having only moved in to the Goodwood area recently, I don't know Mufti sahib personally. However, what is evident from the comments of the signatories is that he has only ever had the benefit of the community in mind while carry out his role as imam and has sacrificed his own time to assist in the fund raising efforts for the new Masjid. If the reason for his suspension is valid, this needs to be made clear by the committee.
