This is very shocking, on what grounds has he been dismissed? Can the committee shed some light on this? We have a young and talented Mufti who has worked hard to bring up the madressa and help towards the masjid tirelessly, I urge the committee and those responsible to reinstate our Imam/Mufti Ziyaul haq immediately

Absolutely apalling decision to dismiss Mufti Saab like this. If anybody from this "commitee" reads these messages, they will realise the amount of love and respect he has attained. Would the Masjid even be where it is now without his efforts. I have two boys at the Madrassa and they are extremely upset to see that Mufti is not there. In the long run this decision will do more harm than good. The best thing to do now would be to reinstate him and allow him to carry on the amazing work he has been doing.

I am very confused why Mufti Zia has been suspended. He is very popular within the locality, very good with the older generation and the youth. Please reinstate him ASAP

I am not aware on what grounds Mufti Ziyaul Haq has been dismissed but I have always found him welcoming and approachable whenever I have visited the Masjid and from what I can see he has a great rapport with the younger brothers who attend the mosque too. Insha'Allah this can be resolved soon and Mufti can be reinstated

I will never support or donate to a masjid that has an interfering committee that thinks they know better than a learned scholar. I pity the board members and pray Allah gives them guidance.

Salams the biggest agenda is to instate molana mogra as the head and najeeb is his best friend and is aiding him to get in. Also there plan is to turn the madrash into a secular girls college to make plenty of money for themselves how selfish of them ! This is from an inside source its all about them making money to get rich and also I wonder when the tax and vat man will get hold of MR NAJEEB aka trustee of masjid!!! These two MUST be the first to go!!! Please save our mufti, madrasah and the house of allah

Clear reasons should be given for dismissal otherwise Employment tribunal. Committee members shouldn’t be allowed to give jobs to their family members immediately either
