She was the best teacher that a student could ever want. She is a great U.S History teacher ever i am angry that they would do this to her.

Ass is not a harsh word I've heard teachers say other words that wasn't appropriate, and didn't get suspended.

As a former student at SVHS I had the privilege of being taught by Mrs. Wiggins. I feel students do and say worse things than that at school and she shouldn't be punished this harsh. Yes she should have chosen her words better and who hasn't been guilty of that?

If the Vance County School Board is going by these rules, they may as well go ahead and suspend all of the staff left Northern Vance that was employed when I attended. This is ridiculous.

I graduated the class of 2007 and had Mrs Wiggins for several classes while at southern. She is an amazing teacher and truly cares about her students and their education!

This is ridiculous!!! Should she have said that? No, but an undocumented reprimand would have been more than efficient!! She has MUCH worse things said to her every single day!! To be suspended this close to exam time, AP exams especially is ludicrous. Her students are suffering in her absence & there is not a sub out there who can even come close to what she can teach these kids. I would have never left SVHS with the GPA I did or the college credit hours I had already earned without her. Hands down, the best teacher I EVER had!
