From what i have read about this teacher, she seems to care a lot for her students both present and past, i feel that this suspension was ridiculous. Bring her back

This is totally insane!!!!!! How is this helping the education of her students. It is not it's only allowing someone put a feather in their cap! They should be spend more time keeping drugs out of our schools!

Mrs. Wiggins has taught my father, my brother, as well as me. She is such an amazing teacher and a fun teacher at that. Many students love Mrs. Wiggins, I being one of them. So, free Wiggins. This is uncalled for.

This is a perfect example of how administration makes quick decisions without thinking things through. As a police officer I understand what it is like being unappreciated and getting the short end of the stick. Teachers have to deal with enough. Especially those in Vance County. Give this woman a break.

She was one of my high school teachers best teacher ever sweetest lady I would do anything for anyone students talk this way all the time and never have anything done to them I think this is very wrong she's a very sweet lady and a wonderful and great teacher

In a time where we need our children to have the best education possible to survive in this competitive world, you have suspended an exceptional teacher for what most people would consider a non issue.
Suspending a teacher for using a curse word? Once again, stupidity rules out. I believe the school board should be suspended for utter ignorance.

Come on, where is the sense in all of this? Who was behind the ludicrous decision to suspend Mrs. Wiggins? I ask the Vance County Board of Eduction rethink this decision and not only reinstate Mrs. Wiggins immediately but also express their sincerest apology for the grief this has caused all concerned .
As a retired NC public school teacher myself, the actions taken against Mrs. Wiggins are excessive and ridiculous. Let's work to retain passionate and dedicated teachers such as Mrs. Wiggins.

Mrs. Wiggins was a leader for my youth group back in 1998-2002. She was amazing with students then and I am certain she is now. Her approach to teaching is to understand her students, relate to them and get them to respect her because she respects them. Using the word "ass" is not enough of a reason to suspend her nor cause potential disruption in her teaching curriculum at such an important time of year.

Students curse at teachers everyday. Why are they not suspended? We keep getting loser Superintendants. Why did he bring everyone from Rocky Mount instead of hiring from within?
