I was really looking forward to having him next year and I am now really sad that he is gone.

Bring him back. I always failed math until I got in his class. He actually made sure students understood what we were learning. nobody can repleace mr. Grant. I am so sad I actually cried in class and i only had him for not even half a semester that says something.

Mr grant helped me through so much stuff that went on in my life and at school... he wasn't just a teacher to most people he was a friend and what happened to him was unnecessary and he needs to get his job back

To be honest, Mr. Grant was the one teacher who allowed me to advance from Algebra I to Pre-Calculus, but unintentionally. I wish the best for Mr. and Mrs. Grant and hopefully good fortune come your way.

Mr. Grant is an absolutely terrific teacher who has helped countless students achieve their goals. To remove him from AAEC is a travesty.

I am a former student of Mr.Grant, I graduated from AAEC with honors and went on to participate in honors at PVCC. Because of Mr. Grants ability to take both a traditional and real world approach to teaching complex subjects, I was not only able to understand the class but I was finally able to succeed. His humanistic approach to teaching allowed me to feel like I was welcome to actively participate in my learning. Feeling acknowledged and appreciated for the individuality of my learning style fostered a sense of security and his continuing influence has helped me in my college career immensely. AAEC is not a traditional school. The small classes and unique culture allows for a more individualized approach. Taking the personal aspect out of a charter school defeats its purpose.

Mr. Grant is such a fun and amazing math teacher. He is the only teacher ever to make math enjoyable! I do not believe he deserved to be fired for this, if he is not reinstated, then that is a loss not for AAEC, but for your students.

The only reason I ever passed my math class was because Mr. Grant was there to help me. He tutored me and helped me get ahead of the ball. I was so excited to have Mr. Grant have as my math teacher next year. I thought he would be my one consistent math teacher that I would have at AAEC, but unfortunately that's not true.

Mr. Grant was our first impression of AAEC.
We have been extremely happy with this high school. As a parent I would like to understand and know what he could have done to deserve being let go.
Does AAEC believe in putting their students first? Or giving second chances? My son was so eager to be a student of Mr. Grants. My family is very sorry to hear he has been let go.

As a mom, I am saddened to hear that Mr Grant is no longer at AAEC. My daughter struggled tremendously with math until she had Mr Grant for her teacher. He helped my daughter to understand math and made learning math fun. Please reinstate Mr Grant.
